I photographed Erin’s wedding so when she popped in my inbox with the request to do an anniversary boudoir session I was so excited! She had this incredible piece of lingerie she invested in while her and her husband were on their honeymoon over in Europe and she wanted it to take center stage. Not only was this boudoir session about a wedding anniversary, but it became so much more. Erin and her husband decided to go with our matted print box so that they could frame and display these images. Erin’s experience of her session were more than I could put in to words so I asked her to describe it for you:
“I've done three shoots now with Chantelle, and I can confidently say that not only does she produce some absolutely outstanding photos, but also even the act of getting your picture taken by her is an absolute pleasure. The whole process, from emailing and chatting about plans, to the big reveal at the end, was so much fun. And the day of the photoshoot itself? Unforgettable.
I never thought I'd look at pictures of myself where parts of me I normally hide were showing and think I look amazing, but here we are. Chantelle made me feel so powerful and beautiful and proud of myself and my body, as it is now, and that is something I've felt every day since that photoshoot. THAT is the experience you get with Chantelle. This is about more than just photos. It's about learning to love yourself by letting Chantelle show you the beauty everyone else sees in you.
I couldn't more highly recommend this experience to anyone who's interested. I will be forever grateful that I plucked up the courage to step outside my comfort zone and just embrace my body.
